1.)Optimize your Fanpage. “Good enough” is no longer enough!
If you think having a picture that looks good is enough, then you ought to think twice. If you also think that having posts that’s good enough to get you by is “good enough”, then you’ll surely fail!
Aside from just value, you also need to make sure that your posts are unique. Thus… you need to provide a unique value. This separates you from everybody else in the Facebook universe. If you don’t find a way to do this, then you’ll become just one of the brands.
2.)Quality draws quantity
People tend to think that quality and quantity are always at war. They can never be further from the truth!
The fact is that quality draws quantity. The more quality posts you provide, the more posts you will be able to do in the future since your quality posts can translate to sales (though almost always not directly).
3.)Share and be shared!
This is what I was talking about when I said promote others. The moment they see you sharing their posts, you’ll definitely get their attention over time thus increasing the chances of them sharing your posts too.
4.)Be as surgically accurate as you can be with your demographics when using Facebook Ads
Blindly posting your ads for everyone to see doesn’t just make any sense, its business suicide!
You need to make sure that you’re only showing your ads to the people whom you’re targeting. Imagine this… Let’s say you have a brick and mortar business who sells pie in New York, how do you think would it benefit you if your ads are shown in Japan, Russia, or other countries?
5.) Showing some skin helps with your CTR!
I’m not even talking about anything sleazy when I said skin. Simply showing arms, soldiers (among many others) can help increase your CTR according to several tests made (including mine).
6.)Short and even long stories are almost always a winner in FB
This is why you shouldn’t think less is always more. A one liner text post rarely outperforms short/long stories. Especially if the short story has a compelling title.
7.)Remind your audience of their frustrations and you’ll have their attention
Not to be negative (or induce negativity for that matter) but if you want to catch their attention, reminding them of a problem will surely catch their attention. That’s because they can relate to it and they of course want it solved.
8.)Post inspiring/motivational messages
You have to admit that to be able to inspire others and make a difference in their life is quite fulfilling. If you totally agree with that then do it! Post messages that are inspiring and motivational in Facebook.
